I am a new user of google calendar (because of my phone) after having
used outlook for a number of years and I am disappointed that google
doesn't have a task/to do list. Having read many comments, it seems
there has been a request for at least two years, but I have not seen a

Yes, please . . . where is the task list?!

This is very frustrating. How can it take so long to implement a task
list for the calendar, since there were hints of it being "close" ~2
years ago, and it's already been sorted out for gmail?

A birthday field that would let you pick a person from GMail's
contacts would be great! And then you would have the birthday updated
in both the calendar and the contacts!

in my work i have usually have longer projects and i really miss
having an overview over multiple months.

now, especially when you reach the end of the month, you even have no
overview over the coming weeks.

Persian calendar

Hi. I have recently started using google calendar and I find it really
useful.I think that many many people will be using it in the future.
The only thing that would make it much more useful and popular would
be to include persian calendar (hejri shamsi,[link]
calendar/) as alternative calendar.

embedded calendars broken on iPhone/iPod Touch

My embedded Google calendars are no longer showing up on my iPod
Touch. Oddly, they show up on the iPhone emulator included with
Apple's iPhone developer kit.

I've rebooted my iPod to no avail. Other websites with embedded Google
calendars also do not show up on my iPod.

Is this a known issue?

how about being able to choose an option that automatically shows when
holidays are (e.g. mothers day, valentines day, thanksgiving, etc.)
and/or the lunar cycle: full moons and new moons.
wouldn't that be convenient.

I was very excited to start shifting to Google Calendar... but then I
discovered that Windows XP 64 bit is not supported.

Any word yet on 64 support (wonder why its difficult?)

Busy / Available and multiple calendars

Like other posters I have a need to show appointments as available or
busy. I want to be able to show all available times and then allow
clients to book a time with their initials. When the event is booked I
would like to see it change color so that available times and busy

Yes, or be able to change a calendar's color to show if an event has
been changed from available to busy.

add attachments to an event

I would like to be able to add attachments to an event, i.e. pdf map

This would have been beneficial many times, for things like courses,
parties, etc.
